  • What is the Perks PASS

    The Perks Pass is a regional visitor savings pass for Agnes Water & 1770 that reimagines the traditional coupon books and E ntertainment-style guides. It makes discovering and redeeming local deals easy and more affordable, with curated offers across tours, attractions, dining, shopping and more. Some perks are single-use specials, while others are ongoing discounts available throughout the year. Each pass covers up to four people and is valid for 12 months.

  • What kind of local deals and perks are included?

    Each region’s Perks Pass includes a mix of discounts, bonus offers, and exclusive experiences across tours, attractions, cafés, restaurants, and retailers. New deals are added regularly, check the Perks page for the latest and greatest deals in Agnes Water & 1770.

  • Is the Perks Pass the same as a visitor pass or tourist pass?

    Yes! The Perks Pass works just like a visitor or tourist pass, giving you access to local deals and experiences across the region.

    The difference is that the Perks Pass focuses on smaller, community-driven destinations and independent local businesses, rather than big city attractions.

    Think of it as a smarter, more personal version of a traditional attractions pass: one that helps you explore more, spend less, and support the locals who make each region special.

  • How does the Perks Pass work?

    Once you purchase the Perks Pass, you’ll receive your digital pass by email.

    Simply save it to your phone’s wallet (Apple or Google Wallet work best) and you’re ready to go.

    Show your pass at any participating business to redeem local deals — from café discounts to tour offers and retail perks.

    If a business requires a booking, just quote your Perks Pass ID when you call or email. They’ll confirm its validity and scan your pass when you arrive.

    Each perk lists whether it’s a one-off special or an ongoing deal, so you always know how often you can use it.

    The Perks Pass covers up to four people and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. This means you only pay once and can use it with 4 friends for 12 months.

  • How many people does the Perks Pass cover?

    The Perks PASS covers 4 people. If you would like more people included, please buy a second Perks PASS. 

  • How long is the Perks Pass valid for?

    Your Perks Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

    Most deals are single-use, but some participating businesses offer multiple-use perks that you can redeem more than once during the validity period. Each deal clearly states whether it’s one-time or reusable.

  • Can I buy the Perks Pass as a gift?

    Yes! The Perks Pass makes a great gift for travellers or locals who love discovering new places. Simply enter the recipient’s details during checkout, or forward them the pass email after purchase.

  • Can locals buy the Perks Pass, or is it just for visitors?

    Absolutely! The Perks Pass isn’t only for visitors, locals love it too.

    Many residents use it to rediscover their own backyard, try new cafés, tours, and attractions, and support local businesses.

  • Can I share my Perks Pass with my friends/family?

    Yes! Your Perks Pass covers up to four people: whether that’s family, friends, or guests travelling with you.

    Only the main passholder (the person who installed it on their digital wallet) must remain the same.

  • Do I need to download an app to use it?

    No app needed. Just add your Perks Pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from the email we send after purchase. You’ll have all your deals and details in one convenient place on your phone.

Using the Perks PASS

  • Can I use the Perks Pass during peak seasons or holidays?

    Yes! All participating businesses have agreed to honour their deals year-round, including during school holidays and peak travel periods.
    As long as they’re open for business, the deal is on. This means you can enjoy the same great local deals whenever you visit.

  • Can I combine my Perks Pass discount with other promotions or deals?

    This varies by business. Some may allow it, while others offer their best price exclusively through the Perks Pass.

    To be sure, check with the business before redeeming your deal.

  • Are there any hidden fees when using my pass?

    No, there are no hidden fees or extra charges.

    You only pay for the Perks Pass itself, and all savings are applied directly at participating businesses when you redeem your deal.

  • Can I use my visitor pass at multiple times at the same location?

    It depends on the business. Most deals are one-time offers, but some partners provide multiple-use perks that can be redeemed more than once. Each perk on our website clearly states whether the perk is single-use or reusable.

  • How do I know which businesses accept the Perks Pass

    You can view all participating businesses and their current deals right here on LocalAdventures.com.au. Filter by business type to plan your trip and discover new local experiences!

  • How do I claim my perks?

    If the business requires a booking (e.g. tours, accommodation, activities):

    Call or email the business directly and mention your Perks Pass ID (found on your pass inside your phone wallet). They’ll verify your pass before finalising your booking.

    If no booking is required:

    Look for the Local Adventures Perks Pass sign at the participating business and scan the QR code to redeem your pass. Then simply show your pass at the counter, it will have updated and now shows you have redeemed it.

  • Can I claim more than one perk a day?

    Yes! You can redeem multiple deals in one day across different participating businesses.
    It’s the perfect way to explore more while saving along the way.

  • Do I need to visit or redeem perks in a specific order?

    No. You can use your pass in any order and at your own pace. Just remember, some experiences require advance booking, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead, especially during busy periods.

  • Do I need to book in advance to use my pass?

    Some experiences allow walk-ins, but others — like tours, activities, and accommodation will need you to book ahead. Common sense applies: if a business usually takes bookings on their website (for example, a tour or accommodation provider), you’ll need to call or email them directly instead of booking online.

    When you get in touch, simply quote your Perks Pass ID so they can check your pass is valid and secure your special rate.

  • What do I need to show to redeem the offer

    You’ll need to show your digital Perks Pass on your phone and the pass ID which is located on your pass, inslide your phone wallet. Some partners may also ask for a quick ID check just to confirm your details.
