Instructions for passholders

1. Select your perk
Is a booking required ahead of time?
  • Call or email the business – you cannot book and pay online on their website as there is no connection between your special perk and the businesses website.  
  • State that you are a Perks Pass holder and quote your Perks Pass ID 
  • The business will check it to see if it is valid.
  • The business will redeem the Perk at the time of payment.
No prior booking required?

Then walk in and follow the redemption instructions below ahead of payment.

Locate the QR code on any of our brochures or visit the Check & Redeem page.

Enter your Perks Pass ID in the Check your Perks Pass area then press Check Validity button

Locate the business you wish to redeem at in the list and click the Redeem Now button

Check that you have selected the right business and submit. You will see a confirmation message on the website and receive an email.

Open your wallet and show at the counter. They will check your redemption date and time and provide you with deal

Instructions for BUSINESSES

The Perks Pass is a digital take on the classic local deals booklet, powered by smart tech that gives visitors timely pings about offers as they explore Agnes and 1770.
  • A pass is valid for up to 4 people and 12 months. This means that the discount/value add will need to cover up to 4 people by pass.
  • The pass is valid at all times (no blockout dates)
  • If you have provided a discount as per your perk please charge your published rate minus the discount. If you have provided value add please ensure you make a note of the value add at the time of booking.
  • Passholders are in charge of the redemption – however, if they call you to book on the phone as you need to check availability and you take payment at time of booking please check the pass validity and follow the redemption process instead of the customer doing so. If the booking is made when the pass is still inactive for a date that will be between the active window this is fine (please do not tell the passholder that they need to activate the pass in order to book ahead, this is not correct)
  • A perk is only redeemable once at your business unless you agreed to a multiple redemption offer.

Option 1 - No booking required (e.g. walk-ins)

Passholders will present you with a redeemed pass in their phone wallet. Look for today's date and the current time as per the screenshot. If it is correct please offer them your perk.
Note: A copy of the redemption is sent to both the passholder and your inbox as a backup.

Option 2 - Passholder needs to call ahead to book

When passholders need to call you to book ahead and check availability, you will need to check the pass validity and follow the redemption process instead of the customer to ensure they haven't claimed it at your business yet.

Checking a pass is super easy and takes 10 seconds. Look for the Redeem now button on this website or click here.

Once you have checked the pass you will be able to redeem it on behalf of the operator. We recommend you do so at the time of taking payment.

As mentioned above under 'instructions' for business, the pass only needs to be valid at the time of travel. When you check the pass validity you will clearly see the dates.
